the event 'post colonial justice' took place in werkstatt der kulturen in berlin on 30.06.2014
it included a presentation by paul gilroy, focusing on the explosion points in britain's history between blacks and whites, namely – riots, how they were treated by authorities, media, and the community, and what brought them on from the late 70's to the 2011 riots.
Later – a panel discussion took place around the themes 'what's wrong with berlin' – or where do its racial tensions lie, and why were there never any riots in berlin. It included several academics and activists living in germany and working on the topic of racial justice.
